DeMar DeRozan, 6x NBA All Star, Olympic Gold Medalist, former player of the Toronto Raptors.
During his 9 seasons as a Toronto Raptor, he had many fans and held player events. He was known for allowing fans to design in-game shoes he would wear throughout the season. The Toronto Raptors celebrated their 20th Anniversary in 2015, and in doing so wore their OG purple 20th Anniversary jerseys during select games to celebrate their heritage. During the season, DeMar and Nike had decided to ask fans to design Kobe 9 EM's through Nike iD.
I want to deeply show my appreciation towards DeMar and his team for this opportunity. I will be forever grateful for winning this contest and for giving me motivation to continue designing and eventually create my brand.
